Emergency Lockout Service, Melbourne East & Frankston

Nobody plans to stand on their own doorstep at midnight. It happens on the school run, on the way to a shift, or the one night the weather turns. What matters from that point is how fast somebody picks up, whether they tell you the price before they move, and whether your door survives the visit.

The lock usually survives

Most lockouts end with the door open and nothing replaced. Picking, bypassing or manipulating the mechanism costs you nothing extra and leaves the hardware you already own exactly where it was. Drilling is the option of last resort, and you will hear that word from us before it happens, never afterwards on the invoice.

Two zones, two sets of doors

In the east that means brick veneer through Blackburn and Vermont, fob-and-restricted-key towers around Box Hill and Ringwood station, and office suites in the Tally Ho park. Around Frankston it means beachside cottages carrying twenty years of salt, canal-frontage homes at Patterson Lakes with a jetty door as well as a front door, and gated access at Sandhurst that has to be arranged before anyone arrives.

You hear the number first

The figure is agreed on the phone, before a van moves. After-hours and public holiday rates are said out loud at that point. If the job on arrival turns out to be a different job, we stop and re-quote rather than continuing and explaining later.

Need this sorted today?

Ring now. We quote on the call and send the nearest van in your zone.

Emergency Lockout — Common Questions

How long until someone is actually at my door?

It depends which zone you are in, and we will tell you which on the phone. Close to either hub we target 15 minutes. Through the outer east, or out toward Mornington and Cranbourne West, allow 30. Lilydale and Mooroolbark run to 35. Those are targets measured from the zone hub, not a citywide average.

Is my door going to be damaged?

Very rarely. Non-destructive entry handles the overwhelming majority of jobs. A small number of high-security cylinders genuinely cannot be bypassed, and on those we stop, explain what drilling involves and what replacing it costs, and let you decide before anything irreversible happens.

Everything I own is on the other side of the door, including my ID.

That is the usual situation, not an awkward one. We establish entitlement a different way - addressed mail, a tenancy agreement, a neighbour who knows you, an account open on your phone. We do have to be satisfied you are entitled to go in, and that protects you on every other day of the year.
